Our Story

Mary Sutherland had a vision in the early 1980s, to start The Maritimes very own martial arts supply shop. It was officially named Spirit Martial Arts Supplies in 1995 and became a full time member of the local martial arts scene. It quickly grew in popularity because customers liked having stock on hand that they could touch and try out before purchasing. As opposed to relying on pictures and text in a catalogue.

The current owners, strive to keep Mary's tradition alive and continue to this day to be a one stop shop for all of your martial arts, competition fighting and self defence needs.

We are Atlantic Canada's "very best" place to get martial arts supplies and apparel. With home town customer service that cant be beat and price breaks for teachers and school owners.
