Round Tonfa (pair)

  • Sale
  • $34.95

The tonfa is an Okinawan weapon. It consists of a stick with a perpendicular handle attached a third of the way down the length of the stick, and is approx 15-20 inches long. It was traditionally made from red oak, or any type of hardwood, and wielded in pairs. The tonfa is believed to have originated in either China or Southeast Asia; one theory is that it was derived from the handles used to turn milling stones.

These traditionally constructed tonfa are made of hardwood and designed for maximum efficiency.

Sold in pairs.
